Carol Dostal talks about her boy:

"He really was an incredibly accomplished dog in retrospect. What an agility career he would have had. But the thing that really sticks out in my mind about him was what a sweet loving dog he was…to me and my friends. He used to love to jump up, with his paws on my shoulders and give me (and get) a hug. He would do that with some of my friends who he especially liked. It was interesting who he chose to give hugs, but when he saw those people…both Sutter and those people enjoyed the moment."

Agility

From Sutter's first trial to his last, just short of two years of competition, he went from novice to MACH. It took Sutter about a year to earn his MX and MXJ. It took him just another year to earn his MACH.

3/31/01 1^st trial - Earned his Novice, Open Standard and Jumpers titles in 5 weekends of competition
9/08/01 - Earned his Excellent Jumpers AXJ
10/21/01 - Earned his Excellent Standard AX
3/10/02 - Earned his Masters Excellent Jumpers MXJ
6/01/02 - Earned his Masters Excellent Standard MXJ
3/09/03 - Sutter earned his MACH at just 3 years and 4 months of age

During that time he also earned all his Novice and Open USDAA titles. Sutter was very quickly competing at the Masters level and earned his MAD (USDAA Master Agility dog) and RM (Relay Master) and JM (Jumper Master).
