Fick is first and foremost a family dog – his titles don’t mean anything to him as long as he can be with us, most importantly for tummy rubs while we have coffee in bed on weekends. It is hard to say, but I think that time with us or his extended family of friends even beats chasing squirrels on hikes, playing with his adopted sister Darcy, or running agility.

Fick was handled by Andy Linton for this Championship in 2002. In competition however, his great love is agility, because he gets to play and have fun with ‘mom’ all day in a park. What could be better except tummy rubs in bed, right? Fick is such a joy to run in agility – he gives his utmost, trying so hard to do it right, and barking all the way. Handled by Carol he came in 22nd overall in the 2003 AKC Nationals, earned his MACH handled by Dixie in 2004, and got second place for the standard agility leg in the 2005 Vizsla Nationals.
