Judy and Simon met when Simon was 9 months old. Together they commenced a very short and successful show career. First there was a match show where he went Best Vizsla Puppy and Best Puppy in Group (BPIG). Then, in four days of AKC shows, Simon went Best of Winners (BOW) or Best of Breed (BOB), never losing. He finished his Championship in a total of 5 days. For his final championship points we flew him to Massachusetts where he went Best of Winners for a 5 point major at The Vizsla National Specialty show. He was then a year old and, at that point, retired from the show ring to enjoy his calling as a family pet.

Simon is a sweet boy and beloved pet who lives and enjoys life with his family, The Igoe's, and his extended family of the many children on a busy cul de sac. He is almost nine now. Although he is not proven in the field, he is quite "birdy", and his pedigree has strong hunt; it is the type of pedigree that consistently has thrown exceptional hunt for Boulder Vizslas.

Simon's sire is Cassidy (BISS CH Rivercity's Quenton Cassidy MH ROM) owned by Judy and Edj and shown by Judy to #5 Vizsla All Breed and #7 Breed in the US in 1998. Cassidy was also Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) at Westminster Dog Show in 1999.

In 1999 Necka, Simon's dam, CH MACH2 Russet Leather Anasazi JH MAD RM SM JM went BOB at Westminster. She was also the US's #1 Bitch Vizsla in 1998 and the #2 Vizsla (both rankings All Systems). Necka earned her Master Agility Champion (MACH) in 2002, followed that by her MACH2 and currently has 18 double Q's earned toward her MACH3. In 2003 she was AKC's #1 Agility Vizsla.
