Lola was a magnificent, vibrant, and complex creature with the most beautiful soul. We doubt that even years from now, we'll understand all of the lessons she tried to teach us. The amount of happiness she brought to our lives far outweighs the intense pain of losing her at such a young age. We're grateful for all of the wonderful memories she left us with:

her passion for hunting,
her intensity,
her unstoppable spirit,
her work ethic,
her intelligence and desire to get it right,
her love on her terms.

She was the best patient, never tearing off a bandage or a single stitch. She was brave in her own way and trusted us to teach her to work through her fears. Although she was never destined to be the most graceful swimmer, she swam with such heart and faith that she could do it just as good as the other dogs. She loved her brothers. She loved her home. She was the best traveler, always up for whatever adventures we took her on. And we often found ourselves speechless as we would watch her move through the fields with such effortless grace.

She loved you as two of her most special humans. We'll always cherish the memories of her excitement when we would pull up in front of your home. Her tail wagged harder than any other time as soon as she saw you and she couldn't wait to jump up to give kisses.
