Barry's owner/Breeder, Marcia Folley writes about her boy:

"Barry was a very sensitive dog. He would look you in the eye with such sadness if you were sick. He would place his paw so gently on your arm and try to commutate his sadness for your illness. Barry does breed sensitive dogs. They can't be corrected with a hard hand. A simple no will do.
Barry was the kind of Vizsla that endeared himself to everyone-child or adult, breed purist or ringside spectator, and quite a few judges. After his careers as a Special and a Juniors dog, Barry was used sparingly as a sire. The offspring of his first few litters were all it took for Barry to earn his ROM (Vizsla Club of America Registry of Merit) at an early age. His descendants are blessed with his long, fluid gait, his classic head, and uniformly solid hips.

Barry's pedigree was perfect of the brood bitches of the '90s, being just a step away from the great foundation Vizslas of the '60s from Marion Coffman's Cariad line. His father, CH Cariad's Cimar Ron, was a full brother to "Bear," CH Taunee's Loki Santana CD HOF ROM. Barry was the star of Ron's only litter (all champions), from BISS CH Cariad's Classic Mariah ROM. In fact, ROMs dominate both sides of his pedigree, and he already has an ROM daughter."
